Darwin Recruitment seeks a Service Technician to maintain and repair professional kitchen equipment across Belgium. This field-based role offers independence and on-site problem solving.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, manage parts and tools, and support customers with technical guidance. Fluency in French and either Dutch or English is required, with a valid B driving licence.

Qualifications

• Technical background in electromechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, or similar.
• Experience in service, maintenance, installation, or repairs.
• Fluency in French plus either Dutch or English.
• Valid driving licence B and customer-focused attitude.

NB: For this role, we’re looking for someone who speaks fluent French (mandatory), plus either Dutch or English. We’re considering technicians in the Brussels, Leuven, Liège and Charleroi area.

Are you someone who enjoys solving technical problems on-site? Do you have experience with electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical (commercial kitchen) equipment? Would you like a field-based role with plenty of independence? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

For one of our clients, we’re looking for a Service Technician to maintain and repair professional equipment at customer locations across Belgium. Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, dishwashers, washing systems, white goods, or similar equipment is a plus, but we’re also interested in technicians with a broader electromechanical maintenance or service background.

What you’ll do:

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
• Carry out service and maintenance work on-site
• Support customers with technical advice
• Manage parts and tools in your service vehicle

What we’re looking for:

• Technical background in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar
• Experience in service, maintenance, installation, or repairs
• French plus either Dutch or English
• Driving licence B
• Independent and customer-focused attitude

What’s on offer:

• €3,000 to €3,800 gross per month depending on your experience with repairing professional kitchen equipment.
