Jobtailor is seeking an experienced software engineer to maintain and evolve Activiti and Camunda workflow engines while delivering modern web applications. You will implement enhancements, perform migrations, and ensure backward compatibility with legacy systems.

The role involves API design, security considerations, and cloud-based deployments. The candidate should be proficient in HTML5/JS/TS with Angular, Web Components, and modern front-end patterns, plus backend experience in Java/Spring

Qualifications

Strong front-end expertise with HTML5, CSS3, SASS and modern JS/TS.
Experience with Angular and Signals, building modular client-side apps.
Knowledge of web security, authentication protocols (OIDC, JWT) and API consumption.
Experience with RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
Cloud deployment and CDNs (AWS) for performance.
Experience with workflow engine integration (Activiti, Camunda).

Responsabilités

Maintain and evolve Activiti and Camunda workflow engines for stability.
Implement functional enhancements, migrations, performance improvements and fixes.
Ensure backward compatibility with Compass Green legacy system.
Develop, test, and integrate new features per specs.
Perform root cause analysis of production incidents and deliver fixes.
Refactor code to reduce technical debt and optimize SQL.
Develop unit and integration tests to safeguard stability.
Prepare deployment packages and support production integration.
Participate in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, daily stand-ups and reviews.
Refine backlog items and contribute to implementation planning.
Present changes during sprint and PI demos.
Attend architecture alignment meetings and stakeholder updates.
