Job summary

PwC Belgium is seeking a VAT Consultant within our tax team to lead VAT compliance efforts for clients and ensure adherence to Belgian and international VAT rules. You will guide projects, share regulatory insights with the team, and help develop the VAT practice while coaching junior professionals.

Fluent English is required; Dutch or French is a plus. A Master’s degree in Tax law or related field complements the role, with strong analytical and communication skills essential for success in a

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in VAT compliance.
• Experience in-house, in a Big-4 or law firm, or with Tax Authorities.
• Fluent English; Dutch or French is a plus.
• Master’s degree in Tax law, Business Engineering, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for clients on VAT compliance needs.
• Lead VAT projects in a structured, critical, and creative way.
• Expand knowledge of Belgian and international VAT regulations and share with the team.
• Collaborate with other tax colleagues to offer comprehensive solutions.
• Coach the VAT compliance team and develop the VAT practice.
