Alstom in Belgium seeks an experienced Verification & Validation engineer to contribute to major developments by defining verification strategies, creating test plans and executing verification, integration and testing activities. You will interface with design teams and senior managers to report results, risks and opportunities within the V&V plan.

Qualifications

Good analytical skill is required.
Experience in Product development.
Understanding and experience in Software coding.
Knowledge of at least one Alstom platform.

Responsabilités

Contribute to the definition of the Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan, and act proactively for its implementation.
Define verification methodology for selected deliverables, when requested in V&V strategy.
Define test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities.
Perform and report allocated verification, integration and test activities.
When Safety is involved, share and justify the results with Safety Assurance Manager to feed the safety demonstration.
Interface with experts in other department to align on selected V&V activity methodology.
