Asquare Partners in Belgium is seeking a Senior Transversal Risk Actuary to support the Risk Department. You will assess and monitor risk profile, analyze actuarial models, provide Solvency II reporting, and contribute to a robust risk framework.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in risk management, strong communication, and cross-functional coordination; fluency in French or Dutch and good English, with autonomy and ownership of complex topics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management or equivalent roles (actuarial, finance, ALM, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with stakeholders.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional activities across departments.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex topics.

Responsabilités

• Assess and monitor the Company’s risk profile relative to risk appetite.
• Analyze actuarial models, assumptions, sensitivities, and scenarios to understand long-term impacts.
• Provide Solvency II reporting to stakeholders and committees.
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of a robust risk management framework.
• Participate in evaluating business strategy and mitigation actions for key risks.
• Formulate independent opinions for strategic and operational decisions.
• Contribute to the ORSA process (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment).
• Perform ad hoc analyses and advise management and governance bodies.
