Job summary

Bimona in Brussels is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to join the traffic data team of a public transport organisation. The assignment is time & material and full-time, Start preferably 3 January 2027, end 31 December 2031, with an estimated volume of about 9,000 hours.

You should have 10+ years of experience as a functional analyst on Agile/Scrum IT projects, and you must speak French or Dutch at C2 level plus English at C1.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a functional analyst on IT projects in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into functional specs and user stories.
• Experience with API/web services (REST, SOAP) and data tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document needs of stakeholders and translate to specs.
• Write functional specifications and requirements.
• Work with development teams to align solutions with business needs.
• Write test cases and test scenarios, run tests as agreed.
• Carry out impact analyses based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, transport operators and other units.
• Support maintenance and evolutive changes of applications.
• Contribute to real-time traffic information and invoicing systems.
