V-IT NV is seeking an experienced Test Automation Expert to join an Agile Social Protection domain team in Brussels. You will enhance automated testing coverage and establish a uniform approach across multiple applications using Selenium and Cucumber.

You will coach team members, collaborate with developers and analysts, and drive scalable test automation while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and Docker-enabled environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing automated GUI tests with Selenium and Cucumber.
• Strong Java knowledge essential for the automation framework.
• Experience with Page Object Model design pattern.
• Experience testing REST web services and automating API tests.
• Good SQL and test data management knowledge.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker in test environments.
• Knowledge of REST Assured is a plus.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to work independently and establish structure in automation.

Responsabilités

• Further develop and expand automated regression tests.
• Identify and gather requirements to define test scenarios.
• Ensure critical end-to-end flows are covered by automated tests.
• Develop and maintain separate test sets for different entities/environments.
• Set up automated REST API tests, potentially using REST Assured.
• Apply Page Object Model and maintain a structured automation framework.
• Work with SQL and test data management to support tests.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Utilize Docker within the test automation environment.
• Maintain a consistent and scalable automation approach across teams.
• Coach Scrum team members to create and maintain automated tests.
• Coach developers in basic test automation activities.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, analysts in an Agile setup.
