SOFICO, based in Belgium, seeks a Senior Workflow Platform Engineer – Temporal to build the durable workflow foundation behind the Miles platform and the SOFICO AI Cloud from our Zwijnaarde office. You will ensure long-running processes continue reliably and integrate across SaaS, Private Cloud and On-Prem environments.

You will design, implement and operate durable workflows with Temporal and other engines, emphasize idempotency, retries and observability, and collaborate with our Data & AI

Qualifications

• Senior backend or distributed-systems experience in production.
• Hands-on experience with durable workflows/orchestration (Temporal, Camunda, etc.).
• Strong understanding of saga patterns, idempotency, retries and event-driven design.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python, with testing/observing long-running workflows.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and operate durable workflows across Miles and SOFICO AI Cloud.
• Ensure workflows are resilient with idempotency, retries and reliable failure recovery.
• Implement logging, observability, security and operational controls for traceability.
