Itineris, based in Ghent, Belgium, is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to define and evolve the UMAX architecture, ensuring alignment between product innovation, client needs and emerging technologies.

You will lead architecture using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure, mentor consultants, and guide pre‑sales while delivering scalable, international solutions across projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in applied informatics or equivalent.
• 15+ years IT experience including ≥5 years as Technical Architect.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure.
• Fluent Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Define and document the UMAX technical architecture using Microsoft and Azure technologies.
• Translate business and technical requirements into innovative, high‑quality solutions.
• Architect proofs of concept (POCs) to validate new technologies or architectural approaches.
• Provide technical leadership during pre‑sales, RFP development, and client solution design.
• Own the infrastructure and interface components of commercial proposals, ensuring alignment between sales and delivery.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and showcase UMAX’s evolution with future technologies.

• define and document the technical architecture of the UMAX solution, leveraging modern Microsoft and Azure technologies
• capture, analyze, and translate business and technical requirements into innovative, high‑quality solutions
• architect proofs of concept (POCs) to validate new technologies or architectural approaches
• provide technical leadership and support during pre‑sales, RFP development, and client solution design
• own the infrastructure and interface components of commercial proposals, ensuring alignment between sales and delivery
• serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, showcasing UMAX’s adaptability and evolution with future technologies
• act as QA and escalation point for project regarding technical challenges during project delivery
• partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure consistent technical execution across projects
• maintain and share knowledge on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and integration best practices
• coach and guide internal consultants and colleagues (functional and technical) to build architectural capability
• define the long‑term technical product roadmap aligned with business strategy
• distill complex architectural topics into clear, essential messages for client leadership

What you bring

• a master’s degree in applied informatics or equivalent through experience
• 15+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 5 years in a Technical Architect role
• proven expertise in Microsoft technologies (Dynamics 365, Azure) and enterprise integration patterns
• experience in software product development and methodologies (SDLC, Agile, DevOps)
• Fluent Dutch and English
• ability to define and implement technology strategies that drive scalability, reusability, and innovation
• experience collaborating cross‑functionally with Product Management, Sales, and Delivery teams
• strong client‑facing skills, able to communicate complex solutions clearly to both technical and business audiences
• ability to shape a long‑term technical product vision aligned with business strategy
• a proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities
