KNDS Belgium is seeking an experienced System Engineer for drone development. You will own system architecture across warhead, safety system, vector, flight control, and C2 blocks, coordinating internal teams and external partners in a highly regulated development track.

You must have an engineering degree, UAV experience, fluency in English and French, and be able to work in Belgium with security clearance. This role offers collaboration in international teams and impactful defense projects.

• Engineering degree or proven equivalent experience.
• Previous UAV or drone development experience.
• Proficient in English and French.
• Eligible for security clearance.

Mansioni

• Own the full range of system architecture topics.
• Define requirements and create statements of work for future developments.
• Evaluate and respond to tenders.
• Identify best technical solution with internal teams, partners and suppliers.
• Set up a network of partners and suppliers.
• Oversee technical progress and roadmap implementation.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders through R&D, production, quality, maintenance and purchasing.
• Lead overall system development with SME collaboration.
