SUBURBAN CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC. in Flanders, NJ is seeking a Senior Designer/Engineer (Structural) to perform design tasks, develop gravity and lateral loads, and prepare construction documents for low-rise buildings and utility structures.

Requires a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering, PE eligibility within a year, and strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills; hybrid work with occasional site visits.

Formación

• BS or MS in civil/structural engineering and PE eligibility or PE within a year.
• Ability to design gravity and lateral loads per codes (ASCE 7, IBC).
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organization.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, RAM, SAP2000, SAFE and related tools.

Responsabilidades

• Structural design of low-rise buildings and related structures.
• Develop construction documents with framing plans and details.
• Review sites, shop drawings, and submittals for code compliance.
• Provide technical advice and perform site visits as needed.
• Develop structural analysis models and use design software.

Conocimientos

Excellent organizational skills

Strong oral and written communication

Educación

BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

MS in Structural Engineering is a plus

Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain PE within a year
