TRACTEBEL in Brussels is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to design Gas, Energy, and Nuclear structures. This role involves providing technical expertise to deliver projects in collaboration with clients and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, around 15 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in FEM and civil works. Proficiency in French, English, and Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• Around 15 years of experience in a similar domain.
• Fluent in French, English, Dutch (minimum 2 out of 3).

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to work on the design of Gas, Energy and Nuclear structures. You will provide your civil expertise to successfully deliver our projects, in collaboration with clients, contractors, stakeholders and our Civil and project teams.

Your responsibilities

• The key responsibilities will include a selection of the following points, depending on your technical experience and the position you take within our team:
• Providing technical leadership and team management to deliver work packages effectively.
• Coordinating and communicating on complex engineering problems between project stakeholders.
• Providing technical review and responding to site queries and requested changes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to support Proximity activities on sites.
• Conduct and review analysis of structures carried out in FEM packages (experience in using Ansys beneficial).
• Provide technical oversight of reinforcement detailers and review detailing models and drawings.
• Provide expert oversight and technical direction to teams completing the design of reinforced concrete structures.
• Developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Supporting the business development team during the tendering process for our future project stream.

Your profile

• You have a Master degree / Bac+5 in Civil Engineering;
• You have around 15 years of experience in a similar domain;
• Competences : Civil Enginering, FEM, Civil Works;
• You speak French, English, Dutch (minimum 2 out of 3);
• Software : Scia Engineer, ANSYS, Code Aster (minimum full mastering of 1 of them)
