Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software verification and quality engineering.
• A strong background in test automation and automated framework development.
• Experience with C++ and/or C# and the ability to understand production software.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience designing and executing complex software verification activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when investigating defects and system failures.
• Experience working with CI/CD environments and modern software development practices.
• For candidates with degrees obtained outside Belgium, a formal recognition process may be required as part of the hiring journey.

Responsibilities

• Shape the verification strategy for complex software features, releases and product areas.
• Design and implement robust automated tests that provide confidence in product quality.
• Challenge requirements early to ensure they are clear, testable and aligned to customer needs.
• Investigate complex defects, system behaviours and quality risks.
• Partner with Software Engineers, Product Owners, DevOps and Quality Leaders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead the future of test automation and evolve automation frameworks and tooling.
• Review test code changes from developers and influence release readiness decisions.
