SQLI is seeking a Senior Shopify Backend Developer to own the backend for large-scale ecommerce projects, often in headless architectures with multiple integrations (ERP, PIM, middleware). You will design and implement backend services and Shopify apps and collaborate with architects, Product Owners, and frontend teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You will build and maintain custom Shopify apps, leverage Admin API, GraphQL, webhooks, and metafields, and apply Shopify Functions and Checkout

Qualifications

• 5+ years in backend development.
• Proven experience with Shopify APIs & app development.
• Experience with Remix, Polaris, Liquid, Storefront API, Admin API, GraphQL, Shopify App extensions, Shopify App, TypeScript, Shopify Flow basics, Shopify configuration.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (webhooks, async processing).
