Senior Security Project Manager - FOD Justitie - VSSE (Brussels)

Dates: 2026-12-01 — 2027-12-01

Arrangements: Full time; 100% on-site at VSSE; no remote working

FOD Justitie - VSSE is looking for a Senior Security Project Manager for a 12-month assignment in Brussels. The role is listed as Expert IT Project Manager and combines senior project leadership with a strong information-security context. The assignment starts on 1 December 2026 and runs until 1 December 2027. It is a full-time engagement performed at the VSSE premises.

The consultant must bring at least 10 years of confirmed experience and expert-level capability in Agile and Coaching/Team. Confirmed knowledge is requested in ISO 27001:2005, NIST, PMBOK, PRINCE2, SCRUM and ZeroTrust. Additional technologies including Android, EDR, Linux, Microsoft Windows, PKI and SIEM are listed as nice to have. The vacancy therefore combines project-management methods, security frameworks and infrastructure/security technologies.

Because the work is for VSSE, Belgian nationality is mandatory and the consultant must hold a Top Secret security clearance or be willing to obtain one. All services must be delivered on-site, with no possibility of working from home. Candidates must be native Dutch- or French-speaking, have good knowledge of the other national language, and have good/active knowledge of English.
