Job summary

Sander is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to take ownership of shaping and implementing our security strategy in a regulated Belgian environment. You will move beyond maintaining an existing setup and actively design, build and lead the next stage of the company's security maturity.

You will own security architecture, IAM & PAM, cloud and infrastructure security, SIEM and incident response, with a hands-on, strategic mindset.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience in regulated environments.
• Strong IAM & PAM experience with Entra ID/Okta, SAML, OAuth2/OIDC and MFA.
• Knowledge of Cloud, Network, Infrastructure and Application Security.
• Hands-on SIEM, security monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Strategic yet hands-on mindset with ownership and communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus; knowledge of DORA, NIS2 or ISO 27001 is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Security Architecture: design the security roadmap, define standards and drive implementation.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: secure Azure/AWS environments, apps, networks and infrastructure.

Senior Security Engineer - Tasks & Responsibilities

Senior Security Engineer - Profile

• 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, with a degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Strong expertise in IAM & PAM, Entra ID/Okta, SAML, OAuth2/OIDC and MFA.
• Good knowledge of Cloud, Network, Infrastructure and Application Security.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, security monitoring and vulnerability management.
• A strategic yet hands‑on mindset, with strong ownership and communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus. DORA, NIS2 or ISO 27001 knowledge is an asset.
