Everience Benelux is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide a cross-functional team in applying Scrum, remove obstacles, and shield the team from external pressure. You will ensure ceremonies run smoothly and help the team maximize value each sprint.

You’ll coach stakeholders, support the Product Owner, monitor velocity, and report on progress. Fluent English and either Dutch or French are preferred in this multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years in a relevant role.
• Strong command of English and local language (Dutch or French).

Responsabilités

• Set up and run key Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective) and other team meetings.
• Plan and track milestones of the methodology.
• Ensure Scrum is applied smoothly and help the team overcome blockers.
• Support the Product Owner with the Product Backlog.
• Help the team deliver on the Definition of Done and related deliverables.
• Track team capacity and velocity to support planning and progress tracking.
• Coach the team to stay high performing and self-organized.
• Remove blockers and protect the team from distractions.
• Report to management on Scrum adoption across projects.

Job Description

As Scrum Master, you'll be the go-to reference for the team on all things Agile. You'll make sure everyone understands and applies the Scrum methodology, help the team get the most out of each sprint, and shield them from anything that gets in the way of good work, whether that's internal noise or outside pressure.

You'll coach the project team and work closely with business stakeholders, helping everyone understand what kind of interaction actually helps the team move forward (and what doesn't).

What you'll do:

Project follow-up

• Set up and run the key Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and other team meetings
• Plan and track the key milestones of the methodology
• Make sure Scrum is applied smoothly, and help the team work through any obstacles
• Support the Product Owner with the Product Backlog
• Help the team deliver on the Definition of Done, Sprint Backlog, and related deliverables
• Track team capacity and velocity to support planning and progress tracking

Coaching & methodology

• Coach and challenge the team to keep raising the bar
• Help the team navigate difficulties and grow more self-organized over time
• Remove blockers and protect the team from outside distractions
• Champion Agile practices across the organization
• Report to management on how well Scrum is being applied across projects
• Manage risks and issues as they come up

Qualifications

• At least 6 years in a relevant role

Technical background:

• Comfortable with Agile reporting and tracking tools (e.g. Jira)
• Familiar with automated unit/functional testing and CI tooling
• Solid grasp of software development and project management methodologies
• Able to balance Agile coaching with real delivery ownership
• Experience in large organizations, comfortable managing dependencies in complex environments
• Experience working with multicultural teams

Languages:

• Strong English, plus at least one local language (Dutch / French).

Business background:

• Expert-level knowledge of Agile methods and techniques (e.g. Kanban)
• Experience managing multiple dependencies in complex organizations
• Team player, comfortable in multicultural settings
• Well-organized
• Enjoys sharing knowledge
