Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Senior Scientist to lead the design, prototyping, and validation of agent-enabled discovery workflows within In Silico Discovery. You will translate scientific questions into robust, reusable workflows and coordinate with data science and platform teams to deliver value.

You will apply cheminformatics expertise and predictive models, develop automated pipelines in Python, and support adoption by researchers across discovery environments.

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent in cheminformatics or related discipline.
Strong Python programming and automated workflows experience.
Experience with AI-assisted development for scientific software.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Design, prototype, and validate agent-enabled discovery workflows.
Partner with project, data science, and platform teams for value delivery.
Lead scientific design, prototyping, and validation of workflows.
Collaborate with ISD/CADD, biology, DMPK, and data science teams.
