Pauwels Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Finance architect to drive S/4HANA Finance design for a global template rollout across Europe. You will design end-to-end FI/CO solutions, translate requirements into RICEFW specs, and lead integrations via SAP BTP Integration Suite.

Fluent English is required. The role involves governance of localization, data migration leadership, and serving as the design authority during build, test, and cutover across multiple countries, with a hybrid working

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance with deep functional and technical knowledge of FI/CO.
• Extensive experience with S/4HANA Finance architecture, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), CDS views, and Fiori.
• Hands-on expertise in designing integrations using SAP CPI, SAP BTP, IDoc, and APIs.
• Proven track record of writing functional-technical designs for RICEFW and steering development teams.

Responsabilités

• Design end-to-end technical solutions within the S/4HANA Finance template, covering processes, data, and interfaces.
• Translate business requirements into detailed solution designs and RICEFW specifications.
• Lead the design of integrations between the core finance system and third-party applications using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Govern the global template by assessing localization requirements and advocating for a clean-core approach.
• Oversee data migration strategies for master data and open items during international roll-outs.
• Act as the primary design authority during build, testing, and cutover phases while reviewing deliverables from external partners.

Our client, a global leader in the automotive sector, is executing a large-scale S/4HANA transformation across its European operations. The project involves the design and governance of a global finance template to be rolled out across multiple countries.

• Design end-to-end technical solutions within the S/4HANA Finance template, covering processes, data, and interfaces.
• Translate business requirements into detailed solution designs and RICEFW specifications.
• Lead the design of integrations between the core finance system and third-party applications using SAP BTP Integration Suite.

• You bring hands‑on expertise in designing integrations using SAP CPI, SAP BTP, IDoc, and APIs.
• You have a proven track record of writing functional‑technical designs for RICEFW and steering development teams.
• You're experienced in template‑based, multi‑country S/4HANA roll‑outs using SAP Activate methodologies.
• You're comfortable acting as a design authority in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with EMEA country localizations, particularly in Türkiye or Spain.
• Exposure to SAP Central Finance or complex finance data migrations.
• Background in the automotive, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
• Experience managing deliverables from large external system integrators.
