In4Matic is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Finance Portfolio team. You will lead finance-related projects including process improvements, finance transformation initiatives, ERP implementations, regulatory reporting and digitalization efforts, ensuring delivery on scope, budget and timeline.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of PM experience delivering complex business and IT programs, strong knowledge of finance processes, and SAP ERP experience (prefer SAP S/4HANA).

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of project management experience delivering complex business and IT projects.
• Proven experience managing Finance-related projects and transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Finance processes.
• Experience within SAP ERP environments, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience leading cross-functional and international project teams.
• Demonstrated ability in managing vendor and system integrator relationships.
• Experience in deployment, cutover, or go-live activities in large-scale transformation programs.

Function

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our client’s Finance Portfolio team as a Project Manager. This role involves leading a diverse range of finance-related projects, including business process improvements, finance transformation initiatives, ERP implementations, regulatory reporting, and digitalization efforts. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive project management expertise alongside a solid understanding of finance processes and business operations to ensure successful project execution.

ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Delivery & Governance

• Lead multiple projects within the Finance portfolio, ensuring delivery meets scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, resource plans, and governance documentation.
• Implement established project management methodologies and governance standards across all initiatives.
• Provide regular status updates and executive reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, stage gate requirements, and delivery frameworks.

Stakeholder Management

• Foster strong relationships with Finance leaders and key stakeholders.
• Facilitate decision-making and alignment across departments while managing competing priorities.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate activities across various business teams, IT delivery teams, external suppliers, and system integrators.

Finance Transformation Projects

• Lead projects focused on Finance process transformation and optimization.
• Ensure solutions align with Finance operating models, governance standards, and business objectives.
• Support initiatives related to:
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
  • Record-to-Report (R2R)
  • Treasury & Cash Management
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Master Data and Process Governance

Risk, Change & Quality Management

• Proactively identify project risks and dependencies, driving mitigation actions where necessary.
• Manage scope changes through formal change control processes.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards and business expectations.

Cutover & Deployment Management

• Lead cutover planning and deployment activities for relevant projects.
• Develop and govern cutover plans, deployment schedules, and readiness assessments.
• Coordinate business readiness, training, support preparedness, communications, and operational transition activities.
• Drive go/no-go decision processes and executive readiness reviews.
• Manage deployment risks, fallback strategies, and hypercare coordination.
• Ensure a successful transition into business-as-usual operations.

Profile

• Minimum of 7 years of project management experience delivering complex business and IT projects.
• Proven experience managing Finance-related projects and transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Finance processes.
• Experience within SAP ERP environments, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience leading cross-functional and international project teams.
• Demonstrated ability in managing vendor and system integrator relationships.
• A track record of successfully delivering multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience in managing deployment, cutover, or go-live activities in large-scale transformation programs.
