Job summary

GC Europe NV in Leuven, Belgium, seeks a hands-on Salesforce expert to own our Salesforce platform end to end. You will write Apex and Lightning Web Components, build integrations, run data loads, and ensure the system remains healthy with proper testing and deployment practices.

You will work directly with the business to translate needs into scalable solutions, manage deployments from sandbox to production, and maintain technical documentation. English is required; Dutch or French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent by experience.
• 3 to 5 years hands-on Salesforce experience including Apex and LWC development.
• Salesforce Administrator certification required; Platform Developer I preferred; II a plus.
• ITIL Foundation is a plus for incident/change processes.
• English required; Dutch or French a plus.
• Strong hands-on Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration and development experience.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proficient in data migration with Data Loader or similar tools.
• Experience deploying changes with Change Sets, SFDX, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Support and incident management: resolve incidents, service requests, and changes for Salesforce.
• Design, build, and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions.
• Write and maintain Apex classes, triggers, LWCs, and Aura components.
• Ensure unit testing and test coverage; follow best practices for scalable design.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other business applications.
• Support Salesforce Maps and Einstein Activity Capture for productivity.
• Run data loads, imports, exports, and data management tasks.
• Test work before production and manage deployments from sandbox to production.
• Analyze business needs and translate into efficient Salesforce solutions; document specs.
• Stay updated with Salesforce features/releases; explore AI-related integrations.
