InterEx Group, Belgium, seeks an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join a major Salesforce programme for a textiles client. This is a 12-month contract with a hybrid working model.

You will own end-to-end Salesforce delivery, design and deploy solutions, and collaborate with a broader consultancy team to ensure success. It is ideal for a senior hands-on developer aiming to gain exposure to architecture and progress toward a Salesforce Architect role.

We are partnering with a leading consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join a major Salesforce programme for a client within the textiles industry.

This is an initial 12-month contract with a hybrid working model.

This is an excellent opportunity for a genuinely senior Salesforce Developer who is comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of Salesforce delivery. You will work closely with the customer to understand requirements, design the solution, build and deploy it independently, while collaborating with the wider consultancy team when required.

The position is particularly well suited to someone who has established themselves as a strong hands-on developer and is now looking to gain greater exposure to solution architecture and progress towards a Salesforce Architect role.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of Salesforce development and delivery, operating as a self-sufficient technical resource within the customer environment
• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions with a strong focus on Service Cloud and customer service processes
• Develop solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, and Salesforce platform capabilities
• Own the technical solution from initial requirement through solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support
• Work directly with business users and customer stakeholders to understand requirements, refine user stories, and translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions
• Make technical and solution design decisions independently while ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices and the customer's wider architecture
• Design and enhance Service Cloud functionality, including customer service workflows, case management, automation, and agent processes
• Identify opportunities to improve existing Salesforce functionality, reduce technical debt, and increase platform scalability and maintainability
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and take ownership of technical problem-solving through to resolution
• Manage and contribute to deployment and release processes, including source control, testing, CI/CD, and movement between Salesforce environments
• Collaborate with architects and wider technical teams on integration, data, security, and platform design decisions
• Contribute to architectural discussions and progressively take on greater solution design and architecture responsibilities
• Explore opportunities to utilize AI within Salesforce development and delivery where it can improve development efficiency or customer solutions

Must-Haves

• Extensive hands‑on Salesforce development experience, with the ability to operate independently as a one‑person delivery resource
• Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, particularly within customer service environments
• Strong development experience across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, and Salesforce configuration
• Proven experience taking solutions through the full delivery lifecycle, from solution design and build through to testing and deployment
• Ability to independently design scalable Salesforce solutions rather than working purely from predefined technical specifications
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce deployment processes, source control, testing, and release management
• Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices, platform limits, security, data modelling, and maintainable solution design
• Comfortable engaging directly with customers and business users and translating requirements into technical solutions
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider project team
• Fluent/professional Dutch language skills
