argenx is seeking an Associate Director Ethics & Compliance to strengthen our European compliance program across commercial and medical operations. You will partner with regional and country teams to enable compliant launches and ongoing governance, advising on policies, training, audits, and monitoring while upholding our culture of integrity.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of regional biopharmaceutical industry experience in a relevant compliance function, with extensive experience within a commercial stage pharmaceutical or biotech company
• Legal degree preferred, other relevant accreditations or degrees considered
• Fluent in English; other language skills (Italian, Spanish, French or German) preferred
• Regional Experience with launching new products and/or new indications, healthcare compliance systems, training employees, engagement of healthcare professionals and transparency are all essential
• Expertise in the areas of European corporate commercial healthcare law and regulation related to the development and commercialisation of pharmaceutical products
• Regional Experience in specialty markets, particularly rare diseases, preferred
• Expertise in the relevant industry codes and guidelines
• Travel 25-30%

Responsabilités

• In close collaboration with the Ethics & Compliance colleagues, this role is responsible for high quality and timely guidance in all areas of the business, customer facing activities, and country specific compliance issues
• The role will actively lead and contribute to compliance projects, issues, and priorities across the Global Legal and Compliance function
• Lead regional compliance initiatives to support commercial and medical activities
• Draft and implement policies, procedures and guidance to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and codes in respective countries and region
• Support adherence to transparency reporting requirements and reporting obligations where required
• Conduct or assist in compliance-related investigations and other allegations of misconduct
• Prepare and deliver Ethics & Compliance training and education to the organisation including field-based employees
• Foster the strong ethical culture of argenx
• Other duties as assigned
