Dover Fueling Solutions seeks a Senior Project Manager to own complex software and customer programs across Systems & Payment. You will lead end-to-end projects, coordinating with Software Engineering, Product and Sales teams across international customers.

You will manage scope, timelines and budgets while communicating progress to senior stakeholders and customers. The role requires strong leadership, governance, and problem-solving across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Project or Program Management, preferably in software/tech.
• Proven track record delivering medium to large, cross-functional projects.
• Experience managing external customers and senior stakeholders.
• Experience with Software Engineering, Product Management or related teams.
• PM methodologies, governance, risk management and reporting.

• Lead complex customer-facing software and technology projects from initiation through delivery.
• Manage multiple projects and workstreams across scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Coordinate between customers, software engineering, product management, product support, sales and stakeholders.
• Build and lead cross-functional project teams without direct reporting authority.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, risk registers, status reporting and governance.
• Manage project scope, priorities, dependencies, risks and change requests.
• Communicate progress and decisions clearly to customers and senior stakeholders.
• Track budgets, forecasts, costs and key deliverables.
• Remove blockers and drive accountability across teams.
• Develop understanding of the DFS product ecosystem and how software/payments/connected solutions work together.

Senior Project Manager - Software & Customer Programs

About the Role

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, customer-facing software and technology programs across our Systems & Payment business.

This is not simply a coordination role. You will take end-to-end ownership of medium to large customer projects, acting as the key link between our customers and multiple internal teams including Software Engineering, Product Management, Product Support, Sales and senior leadership.

As the face of the program towards the customer, you will bring structure, visibility and accountability to complex projects while ensuring that scope, timelines, budgets, risks and customer expectations are effectively managed.

What You'll Do

• Lead complex customer-facing software and technology projects from initiation through successful delivery
• Manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously across scope, schedule, budget and quality
• Act as the central point of coordination between customers, Software Engineering, Product Management, Product Support, Sales and other stakeholders
• Build and lead cross-functional project teams without direct reporting authority
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, risk registers, status reporting and governance
• Manage project scope, priorities, dependencies, risks and change requests
• Communicate project progress, challenges and decisions clearly to customers and senior stakeholders
• Track budgets, forecasts, costs and key project deliverables
• Remove blockers, resolve conflicts and drive accountability across teams
• Develop a strong understanding of the DFS product ecosystem and how our software, payment and connected solutions work together
• Continuously improve project delivery processes, tools and ways of working

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Project or Program Management, ideally within a software or technology environment
• Proven success delivering medium to large, complex, cross-functional projects
• Strong experience managing external customers and senior stakeholders
• Experience working with Software Engineering, Product or other technical teams
• Strong understanding of professional Project Management methodologies, governance, risk management and reporting
• Ability to influence and drive results across teams without direct authority
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• The maturity and confidence to manage demanding international customers and senior stakeholders
• Fluent English - Dutch, French and/or German are an advantage but not required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent
• Project Management certification and/or experience with methodologies such as SAFe is an advantage

Experience within payments, fuel retail, retail technology or connected software ecosystems is beneficial, but not essential. We are primarily looking for outstanding Project/Program Management capability and relevant software project experience.
