As a senior project manager, you own one or more strategic and complex Odoo implementations: from presales through analysis, delivery and go-live to the transition to our service organisation.
These are multi-module implementations delivered by project teams of five to ten business and technical consultants. You keep budget, scope, planning and risks firmly under control, and you build and manage strong relationships at C-level: you feel at ease challenging a CEO or CFO one moment and working side by side with a junior consultant the next, balancing the interests of your customer and of Dynapps.
This is a pure project role. You coach the people on your projects, but you carry no line management, so your full focus goes to delivery.
What you own
- Project delivery: you own strategic and complex projects: scope, planning, budget, risks and quality, from presales to transition to support, leading and coaching the consultants on your project teams along the way. You own your projects to the finish line.
- Governance and follow-up: you set up and enforce the right governance on your projects: progress reporting, budget follow-up, scope control and well-prepared steering committees. You handle contracts, framework agreements, invoicing and correct internal and external reporting, with the pragmatism to know when goodwill matters more than procedure. And beyond your own projects, you help shape how project management at Dynapps works.
- AI in how we deliver: you use AI in your daily project work, from workshop preparation and documentation to analysis and reporting. You spot where it saves real hours on a project, you make that visible, and you pull your team along. What works on your projects, you share with the other project managers.
- Stakeholder management: you are the single point of contact for your customers, you manage expectations at all levels and you provide firm, constructive pushback when needed, including on budget revisions after the analysis phase. You name what does not fit instead of hiding it.
- Commercial development: you spot up-sell and cross-sell opportunities on your own projects and for other teams, and you translate them into concrete business cases together with account management.
Who you are
- Business acumen. You quicky grasp how organisations and their processes work, and you use that insight to steer your projects.
- Detail and the big picture. You keep the overview and the detail at the same time: you see where a project stands, and you know which decision matters this week.
- Trust and room for initiative. You give the right task to the right person, you say what you expect, and then you let people find their own way to it. You energise and pull a whole team along, especially when things get difficult.
- At ease at every level. You are as comfortable challenging a CEO as supporting a junior consultant: you adapt your language to your audience, question assumptions and create buy-in with customers, partners and colleagues.
- Loyal to both sides. You defend the interests of Dynapps firmly, while safeguarding the long-term relationship with your customer.
- Steady. You stay calm and effective under pressure, and you handle confrontation professionally.
What you bring
- You learn fast. You try new tools, AI included, out of interest rather than obligation, and keep what holds up in real project work. AI is a natural part of that: you try things out of interest rather than obligation, keep what holds up in real project work, and get colleagues moving.
- You have proven yourself on several complex ERP implementations and carried real project weight: multiple modules, demanding stakeholders, substantial budgets, real deadlines and teams of several consultants. You know what it takes to keep such a project on course.
- You bridge business and IT: you describe, monitor and optimise business processes, capture business needs in high-level analyses, and discuss priorities with a CEO as easily as solutions with our developers and functional consultants.
- You are comfortable owning the numbers: budgets, estimates, budget revisions and the business case behind them.
- You are fluent in Dutch and comfortable in English. these projects and customers run in Dutch, with English alongside.
- You hold a master's degree.
What's in it for you
You get strategic implementations, with the mandate to run them your way: the freedom to come up with creative solutions and a front-row seat in shaping how project management at Dynapps evolves. You join a group of 280+ Odoo experts across five countries and 13 local offices, and a culture with short decision lines and room for initiative. There is plenty of variety, because no two projects, customers or teams are the same. You work two days from home and three days at the office or at your customer, and you can count on a competitive salary package with company car and extra-legal benefits.
How we work
Four values, written with colleagues in all five countries. This is what they ask of a project manager.
- Close the gap. Name it, fix it. Closing the gap is what we do for a living: the distance between how a business works today and how it needs to work. You hold yourself to the same standard. You are open with your customer about budget, risks and setbacks before they ask, and when you name a gap, you bring the next step with it.
- Own the outcome. Delivered is not done. A project is finished when it works for the customer, not when it goes live. You say what you will deliver and when, you flag it yourself when it slips, and you do not declare success until your customer does.
- Never the final version. Building for what comes next. Odoo ships a major release every year, because better is always possible. We do not stand still either: our methodology, our tools and the way we use AI keep moving. You design solutions your customer can grow into, and when the durable option costs more, you say so before it is decided.
- One Dynapps. Bigger than your module. In Odoo, a module only creates value once it connects to the next one. Your project works the same way. You share what you learn with project managers in five countries, and when your customer needs expertise your team does not have, you make the introduction.
