UCB is seeking a Project Leader – Infrastructure CAPEX to lead complex infrastructure, utilities, and site facilities projects from concept through handover to operations at our Braine-l’Alleud campus. You will be the accountable owner for delivery, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule targets are met.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, EHS, Procurement, Finance, Maintenance and Automation, while coordinating external partners to realise long-term

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or equivalent).
• Proven experience delivering complex CAPEX projects in regulated industrial or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong expertise in project management, budgeting, cost control and schedule management.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, buildings, utilities, engineering governance and project controls.
• Knowledge of cGMP, quality systems, HSE and compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership and decision-making skills.

We are looking for a Project Leader – Infrastructure CAPEX who is technically credible, delivery-focused, and collaborative to join our Engineering, Sites & Facilities team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l’Alleud, Walloon Brabant, Belgium.

About the role:

As Project Leader – Infrastructure CAPEX, you will lead complex infrastructure, utilities, and site facility projects from concept through execution and handover to operations. You will be the key point of accountability for project delivery, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, compliance, budget, and timeline expectations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, engineering partners, contractors, and suppliers to deliver projects that support UCB’s long-term infrastructure strategy.

Who you will work with:

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Operations, Quality, EHS, Procurement, Finance, Maintenance, and Automation. You will also partner with external engineering firms, EPC/EPCM contractors, consultants, suppliers, and site leadership to ensure successful project outcomes and alignment with business priorities.
