Catalay is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead engineering activities across EPC projects in Data Centers, Industrial facilities, Chemicals, Energy, Pharmaceutical, and Oil & Gas sectors. You will act as technical authority, ensuring quality and timely CAD deliverables while interfacing with construction, procurement, and offshore teams.

You will manage schedules using MS Project, monitor progress, control engineering budgets, and drive risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Project Engineering Manager or similar EPC role
• Experience in at least two EPC projects across relevant sectors
• Strong engineering background with site construction experience a plus
• Strong understanding of piping, structures, electrical and instrumentation
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and 3D models
• Familiarity with CAD/BIM workflows and deliverable management
• Experience with prefabrication and modularization is highly valued
• Fluent in English; French is a plus; MS Project/Primavera/Navisworks experience

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all engineering disciplines (Piping, Structures, Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC/MEP).
• Ensure alignment between Engineering, CAD, Construction and Procurement.
• Drive technical clarification with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Resolve daily technical issues and escalate critical ones.
• Build and manage engineering schedules using MS Project; monitor progress.
• Coordinate with Project Planning to integrate engineering timelines into the EPC master schedule.
• Manage engineering hours, productivity and discipline allocation.
• Track deviations and implement corrective actions to protect budgets.
• Support project management in technical cost estimation and risk evaluation.
• Identify risks and design interfaces; maintain the engineering risk register.
• Report technical risk exposure to Head of Engineering and Project Management.
