De rol vereist ≥5 jaar ervaring in EPC-projecten, sterke achtergrond in piping, structuren en E&I, en ervaring met MS Project/Primavera/Navisworks. Leiderschap en uitstekende communicatie zijn cruciaal voor succes op scheidepunten tussen disciplines en leveranciers.

Qualifications

• Minstens 5 jaar ervaring als Project Engineering Manager, Senior Project Engineer of Project Manager in EPC-projecten.
• Sterke multidisciplinaire engineering achtergrond met kennis van piping en structural, plus E&I; bouw/ site-ervaring is een plus.
• Vaardigheid in het interpreteren van complexe tekeningen, 3D-modellen en CAD/BIM deliverables.

Responsabilités

• Coördineer multidisciplinaire engineering activiteiten over Piping, Structures, Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC/MEP, CAD, Construction, Procurement, leveranciers en offshore engineering teams.
• Ontwikkel en beheer engineering schedules, deliverables, resources, engineering hours, budgets en voortgang met tools zoals MS Project of gelijkwaardig.
• Leid technische coördinatie, interface management, design reviews, leveranciersbesprekingen en dagelijkse engineering issues oplossen.

Our client is an international engineering and project delivery organization managing complex EPC projects across industrial and infrastructure-related sectors.

Freelance Project Engineering Manager

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across Piping, Structures, Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC/MEP, CAD, Construction, Procurement, suppliers, and offshore engineering teams.
• Develop and manage engineering schedules, deliverables, resources, engineering hours, budgets, and progress, using tools such as MS Project or equivalent.
• Lead technical coordination, interface management, design reviews, supplier technical discussions, and resolution of day-to-day engineering issues.
• Manage engineering risks, changes, technical clarifications, document control, and the complete deliverable cycle from IFR/IFD through IFC and as-built.
• Support constructibility, modularization, prefabrication, and site activities while ensuring the quality and integration of offshore engineering and CAD deliverables.

Profiel

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineering Manager, Senior Project Engineer, or Project Manager within EPC projects, with experience on at least two relevant EPC projects.
• Strong multidisciplinary engineering background, with solid knowledge of Piping & Structures as well as Electrical & Instrumentation; construction/site experience is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, 3D models, CAD/BIM deliverables, specifications, datasheets, and calculation documentation.
• Experience with engineering planning and project tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Navisworks, or equivalent; knowledge of modularization and prefabrication is highly valued.
• Fluent English is mandatory; French is considered an advantage, with strong leadership, communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
