Job summary

Mint Selection | B Corp is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the cable package team and oversee HVAC export cable installation under an EPCI contract offshore. The role is hybrid with 2 days in the Brussels office, 3 days remote, and site visits to the Belgian coast as needed, supporting the North Sea transmission infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in offshore cables, including cable lay and burial, landfall and pull-ins on structures.
• Preparatory works such as PLGR, boulder clearance, OOS removal, pre-sweeping and dredging.
• Offshore construction experience, including vessel and ROV operations.
• Cable installation and pull-in analysis, weather limits, survey, GIS and route engineering.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor documentation and installation methodologies, issuing comment sheets.
• Follow up contractors and external parties, reporting progress to the Lead T&I.
• Support offshore works alongside client representatives on site and offshore.
• Work across disciplines to resolve technical issues as they arise.

Senior Project Engineer, Offshore Cables

Contract, November 2026 to December 2027

Our client is delivering new offshore transmission infrastructure in the North Sea to connect the next wave of offshore wind to the onshore grid. With the project moving into execution, they need a Senior Project Engineer to join the cable package team and prepare the HVAC export cable installation under an EPCI contract. The role is hybrid, with 2 days a week in the Brussels office, 3 days remote and site visits to the Belgian coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contractor documentation and installation methodologies, issuing comment sheets.
• Follow up contractors and external parties, reporting progress to the Lead T&I.
• Support offshore works alongside client representatives on site and offshore.
