Tiense Suikerraffinaderij in Merksem invites an experienced Operations Manager to lead production operations, coordinate maintenance and drive supply chain initiatives within a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting.

You will report to the Plant Manager, coach team leaders and operators, promote safety and quality, oversee capital projects, and foster continuous improvement in a culture that values autonomy and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing experience with maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Proven leadership and coaching skills in a production environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day production operations of the plant.
• Lead, coach and develop team leaders and operators.
• Coordinate maintenance for maximum equipment reliability and availability.
• Coordinate and optimize production planning and supply chain activities.
• Act as project leader or core team member for investment and capex projects.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, food safety, quality and operational excellence.
