Job summary

n8n GmbH is hiring two Security Engineers to identify and reduce security risks across product and internal systems. You’ll perform threat modelling, risk assessments, and collaborate with engineering, cloud, IT, and data teams to implement secure designs.

You will help with vulnerability management, incident readiness, and SOC 2 compliance while driving security tooling and documentation. Remote‑first across Europe with equity and ongoing learning support.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on threat modelling and risk assessment across product features and data systems.
• Ability to validate findings, reproduce issues, and write code or automation for risk demonstration.
• Experience securing infrastructure and applications within a product‑focused org.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments across product features and data systems.
• Review security designs with Engineering, Cloud, IT, and Data teams and define security requirements.
• Embed security into development processes with guidance, reviews, and tooling.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation and manage disclosure programmes.
• Improve logging, detection, and incident readiness across infrastructure and apps.
• Support SOC 2 compliance and respond to customer security assessments.
