DataCamp is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to own large, ambiguous projects from idea to impact with strong autonomy. You’ll prototype, measure, and iterate in fast feedback loops, partnering with Product, Design, and Engineers to ship high‑quality work.

You will work in an AI-native environment, leveraging Claude Code and Codex to prototype faster, improve code quality, and tackle hard problems at scale for millions of learners and thousands of companies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building software across the stack.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js and React is a strong plus.
• Startup or early-stage/small-company experience preferred.
• AI-native — experienced with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex).
• Expert knowledge of modern API design and microservices architecture.
• Track record of end-to-end work on large, ambiguous problems.

Responsabilités

• Own product or platform projects end-to-end—from idea to release and measurement.
• Shape the technical direction of the systems you work on, from architecture to implementation.
• Own the services you ship and keep them scalable, reliable, and observable, including those powered by LLMs.
• Raise the bar for decisions and architecture across scalable, reliable systems; advocate for testing and code quality.
• Use data, metrics and user feedback to decide what to build next.
• Grow engineers through mentorship and thoughtful code review.
