Terumo Europe NV seeks a Senior Process Engineer to join the Pharmaceutical Solutions team at Leuven. You will work hands-on on the shop floor and in the toolshop, gaining deep knowledge of moulds, equipment and materials while driving process improvements and coaching technicians.

You will collaborate across engineering, quality, maintenance and operations to deliver sustainable gains, with a focus on safety, quality and regulatory compliance in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical production, engineering, maintenance or process environment.
• Hands-on, shop floor and toolshop experience with a mechanical/technical mindset.

Responsabilités

• Work with moulding and maintenance technicians to understand equipment, moulds and processes.
• Analyse root causes and implement robust, compliant solutions.
• Coach technicians and transfer knowledge effectively on the shop floor.
• Document technical standards and working methods for long‑term retention.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, yield, cost and OEE.
• Lead process improvements and cross-functional projects with PM practices.
• Assist installation and qualification of new equipment and processes.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
