As a Senior Privacy Consultant you will develop privacy programs, advise on Belgian regulatory updates, embed privacy by design, review data processing activities, conduct privacy audits, and lead incident responses while mentoring colleagues and representing CRANIUM with regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, Data Science, or Criminology.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in data protection.
• DPO Certificate.
• Ideally CIPP/E certified.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and Belgian privacy laws.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, 27701 desirable.
• Fluency in French and English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive privacy programs for clients.
• Provide expert, regulatory advice based on Belgian SA updates.
• Embed privacy by design/default into processes.
• Review and adapt client data processing activities to ensure compliance.
• Conduct privacy scans/audits and update roadmaps for improvement.
• Draft documents for stakeholders from management to C-level.
• Act as lead for data breach incidents and promote awareness.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client services and outcomes.
• Maintain communication with regulatory bodies and represent CRANIUM.
