Job summary

Approach is seeking a Senior Data Protection Advisor to join the Privacy & Data Governance BU in Belgium. You will provide high-value data protection services and guide clients across sectors on privacy and risk management.

In this role you will lead DPIA development, monitor GDPR compliance, train staff, and liaise with supervisory authorities. You will work autonomously or with a team and help grow the data protection business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data protection projects and privacy programs.
• Advising on GDPR, e-privacy and related legislations.
• Strong communication and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high value services in data protection offerings.
• Lead steps of data protection projects, autonomously or with the team.
• Advise on all aspects of data privacy.
• Develop Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) and supervise their implementation.
• Monitor compliance with GDPR and related laws.
• Drive privacy compliance audits.
• Train employees involved in data processing.
• Liaise with national Supervisory Authorities.
• Develop tools and methodologies with the team.
• Share sector news with the team.
• Contribute to business development of privacy services.
• Coach junior colleagues in the field.
