Job summary

Drylock Technologies is Belgium-based and seeks a packaging specialist to own packaging engineering within R&D and Purchasing, focusing on packaging methods and sustainability. You will be the technical liaison among internal teams and external suppliers, coordinating repro projects and ensuring compliant, cost-effective solutions.

You bring a technically oriented degree and 4–5 years in a similar role, with excellent English, strong analytical and project management skills, and a proactive,

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Technical mindset with strong project management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and capable of cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize current packaging methods (corrugated, cardboard, paper, PE/foil).
• Actively search for sustainable packaging solutions in collaboration with R&D.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, IT, Marketing, Finance, and other departments.
• Coordinate Drylock's centralized repro projects with internal/external customers and suppliers.
• Contribute to packaging specifications, regulatory compliance, and documentation.
• Stay informed about latest packaging materials developments and trends.
• Transform inquiries into optimal packaging solutions considering shelf life, supplier capabilities, manufacturability, retail needs and cost.
