Job summary

Ball Corporation in Waterford is seeking a Print Specialist to govern the quality of print packages from design to production. You will coordinate with Central Graphics, liaise with ink suppliers, and lead the deco team on first production runs to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Govern the quality of print packages in plants, ensuring all requirements are met for every design.
• Receive customer approved design packages from Central Graphics and execute on them.
• Lead the deco teams during first production runs and sign off on production to create the Ball Global Master Standard.
• Troubleshoot printing issues and collaborate with Regional Print Specialists for pragmatic resolutions.
• Manage customer on-site visits for sign-off on production and optimize label change times.
• Coordinate with ink suppliers on site to ensure ink formulations are suitable for production.
• Maintain production KPIs and drive improvement through RCA on graphics related defects.
• Ensure on-site design master standards are maintained and distributed to Ball G&D for approval.
