Job summary

Meerab Group is seeking a Senior OSIsoft PI System Engineer in Belgium to design, implement, and maintain analytics within the PI System. You will drive architectural decisions, monitor health and data flows, and support root-cause analysis across the PI environment.

You will create complex Excel reports with PI DataLink and dashboards using PI Vision, Angular or Grafana, and participate in future Azure and IEC61850 integrations while collaborating with data stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience with OSIsoft PI historian and related components.
• Strong knowledge of PI AF, PI DataLink, PI Vision and PI Integrator.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and advanced Excel (VBA, macros, pivots).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Victoria Metrics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, challenge and discuss functional and technical requirements provided by the Data Manager and other stakeholders.
• Design, implement and maintain analytics in the OSIsoft PI System, including PI AF, for historian data calculations such as asset health index.
• Configure and maintain notifications, templates, asset models and other PI System components.
• Design and evolve the PI System architecture to ensure a robust, scalable and maintainable solution.
• Monitor PI System health, performance, availability and data flows, supporting troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.

• Prepare future integrations with Microsoft Azure and IEC61850 data sources.
