Job summary

In4Matic is seeking an experienced IAM / IGA Operations Engineer to join our Brussels-area team. You’ll own day-to-day operation of identity platforms, monitor health, manage incidents, and implement long-term improvements to security, reliability, and lifecycle management across multi-environment deployments.

You’ll onboard applications using OIDC, OAuth2 and SAML, configure authentication flows and access policies, build automation scripts, and maintain technical docs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and maintaining IAM and/or IGA platforms in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Keycloak and/or MidPoint.
• In-depth understanding of identity and authentication protocols, including OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML.
• Solid troubleshooting skills, including log analysis, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Good knowledge of Linux environments and experience with PostgreSQL and MariaDB.
• Experience with application integrations, identity provisioning, security configurations, and access management.
• Experience managing platform upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IAM/IGA platforms, including daily operations, monitoring, alert management, and log analysis.
• Investigate and resolve incidents involving authentication, authorization, identity provisioning, and connected systems.
• Perform root cause analyses, restore services when necessary, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Manage TLS and identity provider certificates for SAML and OIDC integrations.
• Support databases such as PostgreSQL and MariaDB, as well as the underlying Linux environments.
• Manage the full platform lifecycle, including installations, configuration validation, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance across multiple environments.
• Configure authentication flows, roles, access policies, provisioning rules, and joiner, mover, and leaver processes.

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and evolution of identity solutions supporting authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management. You'll work closely with infrastructure, development, and security teams in a demanding production environment, combining advanced troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to platform reliability and security.

Your Technical Profile

• Proven experience operating and maintaining IAM and/or IGA platforms in a production environment.
