Wlgroup seeks an experienced Operational Analysis professional to support capability development for a multinational defence programme. You will conduct course of action analyses, plan studies, and collaborate with research entities and industry to quantify effectiveness and risk. Fluent English required; NATO-5 visa relocation to Norfolk, USA provided.

The role involves designing analyses, compiling evidence, and briefing decision-makers. Occasional travel up to sixty days yearly is anticipated.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in operations research, mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering or equivalent quantitative subject.
Five+ years leading operational analysis studies.

Responsabilités

Perform course of action analysis using operations research methods for capability development.
Plan and run research to assess qualitative and quantitative effectiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Engage research entities and industry to evaluate impact of alternatives.
Support information requests from nations, NGOs and industry.
Analyze risks and propose risk management approaches.
Review cost and schedule estimates for quality and supporting evidence.
Document comparative assessments to inform programme decisions.
Produce decision briefs and brief decision-makers.
Write analysis reports forming part of the capability programme evidence package.
Travel to meetings and conferences up to ~60 days per year.
