Job summary

EY's Financial Services Organization (FSO) seeks a Senior Consultant in Non-Financial Risk / Regulatory & Compliance to help banks, insurers, and payments firms meet evolving regulatory requirements and strengthen internal controls across the sector.

The role covers gap assessments, risk monitoring, regulatory watch, and governance reviews, with opportunities for extensive trainings in technical and soft skills, and a flexible, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a consulting role or risk & compliance position.
• Native Dutch or French speaker with excellent business English.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory gap assessment & roadmap implementation: translate regulatory requirements into business and controls requirements.
• Risk assessment campaigns to identify and monitor (compliance) risks and report results to senior management.
• Improve internal controls design and monitor implementation per international standards and market practices.
• Regulatory watch: update processes and monitor regulatory changes (AML/CFT, GDPR, ESG, MiFID, PSD2, etc.).
• Review governance of oversight functions within financial institutions to align with market practices.
• Foster risk and compliance processes and culture through workshops and trainings.
