HumanInTech seeks a senior network security engineer in Brussels to join the network and security team. You will manage Palo Alto NGFWs, lead firewall migrations from Forcepoint, and contribute to secure network architectures across multiple sites.

The role requires 5+ years in network security, strong Palo Alto expertise, and excellent documentation. A hybrid work setup is offered, with onsite Brussels presence and remote days.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in network security with autonomy and initiative.
• Experience installing, configuring, administering and optimizing Palo Alto NGFW/Panorama infrastructure.
• Migration expertise: analysis, preparation, execution and validation of firewall migrations (Forcepoint to Palo Alto).
• Strong knowledge of network security architecture including segmentation, VPN, and dynamic routing (BGP/OSPF).
• Excellent documentation and collaboration with multiple technical teams.

Responsabilités

• Manage and administer Palo Alto firewalls: installation, configuration, and ongoing management.
• Migrate firewalls and security policies from Forcepoint to Palo Alto, including analysis, prep, implementation, and validation.
• Contribute to the definition of network security architectures and hardening.
• Operate and optimize Palo Alto infrastructure and Panorama.
• Participate in projects around network segmentation and secure infrastructure.
• Prepare technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Engage in changes within a critical production environment.
• Advise on technical solutions for secure connections with external partners.
• Address vulnerabilities with effective solutions.
