HumanInTech seeks a senior network security engineer in Brussels to join the network and security team. You will manage Palo Alto NGFWs, lead firewall migrations from Forcepoint, and contribute to secure network architectures across multiple sites.
The role requires 5+ years in network security, strong Palo Alto expertise, and excellent documentation. A hybrid work setup is offered, with onsite Brussels presence and remote days.
You will join the network and security team of a Belgian public-sector organisation to work on critical network security infrastructure and strategic transformation projects.

Graduate or degree in computer science, or equivalent through proven experience. Desired certifications: PCNSA, PCNSE, F5 certifications (asset), additional security certifications (asset).
Languages:
Preferably bilingual (French, Dutch) or sufficient basic knowledge of a second national language. Technical English is required.
This assignment runs from November 2026 to the end of December 2026.
The role is based in Brussels, with a hybrid working arrangement (remote work possible up to three days per week).
You will work at SFIA level 4 (Enable), a senior technical profile, reporting to the network and security team lead. You will collaborate closely with the systems, operations, and project teams.
