Ubique Systems in Antwerp, Belgium, seeks an experienced industrial network engineer to diagnose and optimize complex networks across enterprise and production environments.

You will work with Fortinet, Cisco ISE, Zscaler, and cloud platforms to ensure secure, reliable connectivity and performance, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to sustain high availability.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in industrial environments (VCA certification preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions including firewalling and sdwan.
• Experience with Cisco ISE.
• Strong expertise in enterprise routing and switching: BGP, OSPF, VRF.
• Experience in supporting enterprise-grade WiFi environments.
• Experience and certification with cloud networking technologies such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Certified in Zscaler technologies: ZIA and ZPA.
• Legacy experience with DCS Networks.
• Proficiency in SolarWinds for network monitoring.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage cabling, including the identification of UTP cables.
• Collaborate with third parties and various stakeholders in an industrial environment.
• Provide excellent communication and support to internal teams and external partners.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across enterprise, technical, and industrial network environments

Requirements:

• Due to the sensitivity and criticality of our environment, we are looking for someone with (at least) 5-10 years of experience in industrial environments (this includes VCA certification).
