TiTANS België is seeking a senior .NET for Android developer to own the design and implementation of high-quality software in the Transport Execution Management domain. You will collaborate with solution designers and business stakeholders to translate ideas into reliable applications, maintaining a deep understanding of the business context.

Beyond strong technical skills, you will show initiative, communicate clearly, and contribute to the team.

We are looking for a senior .NET for android developer who will take ownership of designing and building high-quality, well-tested software solutions within the Transport Execution Management domain. You will work closely with the solution designer and business stakeholders to translate ideas into effective, reliable applications, gaining a deep understanding of the business context along the way.

Beyond strong technical expertise, we are looking for someone who shows initiative, communicates clearly, contributes actively to the team, and is willing to go the extra mile when needed. Our applications are built using .NET for Android. We are open to candidates with native Android knowledge and generic .NET knowledge willing to immerse themselves in .NET for Android.

Conformity criteria

• Android development: more than 5 years of experience. Experience either with .NET for Android or with native Android development is allowed.
• .NET development: more than 3 years of experience
• Proven experience in unit testing code on at least 3 different projects
• Demonstrable experience with Clean Code, Clean Architecture and SOLID principles on at least 3 different projects
• Minimum 2 days onsite in Brussels
• You communicate fluently in English and Dutch or English and French (spoken and written). Dutch or French as a mother tongue or at least C2 level. For English at least level C1

Evaluation criteria

For each evaluation criterion, the expectation is that your CV clearly demonstrates relevant experience or knowledge through one or more examples/projects. The more relevant experience or knowledge you can provide as evidence, the better your CV will be evaluated.

• .NET development – demonstrates strong mastery of the .NET ecosystem, including language features, LINQ, async/await, security practices, data structures and design patterns.
• Android development – understands Android UI layouts, components, responsive/adaptive design and native platform integration.
• Android internals – understands activity/fragment lifecycle, services, background work, push notifications, WorkManager and native SDK behavior.
• Code quality & craftsmanship – writes clean, maintainable and SOLID code that follows proven engineering practices.
• Unit testing & test quality – creates meaningful, maintainable and automated unit tests.
• API integration & offline/online synchronization – integrates reliably with backend APIs and designs Android applications that can handle offline usage, local persistence, synchronization, conflict handling and recovery when connectivity is restored.
• Git & version control – applies branching strategies and collaborates efficiently using Git.
• Collaboration & communication – explains technical choices clearly.
