Job summary

ictjob.be seeks an experienced Software Developer to join a client’s Belgium-based development team. You will work with C# and .NET, translating business requirements into reliable software and guiding junior colleagues.

This hybrid, full-time role combines hands-on coding with functional analysis, building stable, maintainable solutions and collaborating across the development lifecycle to improve application quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience translating business requirements into reliable software.
• Ability to analyze and translate functional requirements into tasks and technical solutions.
• Comfort mentoring junior developers and sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve software applications using C# and .NET.
• Analyse functional requirements and translate them into detailed development tasks and technical solutions.
• Design and work with relational databases using SQL Server.
• Use Entity Framework Core to support application data access.
• Apply asynchronous programming, dependency injection and inversion of control where appropriate.
• Help maintain application stability, quality and performance.
• Support junior developers by sharing technical knowledge and helping resolve development challenges.
• Evaluate relevant technologies and contribute to improvements in development standards and practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues throughout analysis, implementation and ongoing application improvement.
