Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is expanding its platform team with a senior .NET developer to build the back-end backbone for an IoT/telemetry platform. You will work on domain models, APIs, events and data contracts in a cloud-native stack with .NET 10, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis and ClickHouse.

Your team collaborates in an Agile setting, using OpenTelemetry for observability and AI tools to raise the bar. You will design domain services, own API contracts, model data, and ensure fleet-scale reliability while

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on C#/.NET back-end development owning a service end-to-end.
• Working grasp of domain-driven design applied to a real domain.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including JSONB and writing SQL.
• Experience with Apache Kafka as an event-driven architecture.
• Container-based development with Kubernetes and cloud-agnostic patterns.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Agile/Scrum experience and ability to adapt with AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build domain services with bounded contexts and aggregates.
• Own API contracts, design versioning and avoid breaking consumers.
• Design events with Avro schemas and clear message handling.
• Model data in PostgreSQL and JSONB for flexible structures.
• Engineer for fleet scale with high-volume telemetry and reliable performance.
• Make services observable with OpenTelemetry, metrics, logs and health checks.
• Test work with unit and integration tests against containerised dependencies.
• Shape the design upstream and lead through reviews and standards.
