Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to advance its SMARTLINK IoT platform. You will help build the backend, focusing on domain models, APIs, messages and data.

The role sits in an agile team of developers, architects, test engineers and a product owner, shaping design decisions and platform scale. The work centers on NET 10, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis and ClickHouse, with containerised services running on Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on C# and .NET back-end development, owning a service end to end and designing APIs.
• Working grasp of domain-driven design: bounded contexts and aggregates in a real domain.
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL, including JSONB, and comfortable writing and reasoning about SQL.
• Apache Kafka as architecture: producers/consumers, partitions, offsets, schemas and delivery guarantees.
• Container-based, cloud-agnostic development: Kubernetes, with pipelines as part of build, test and ship.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis; willing to dig until the cause is found.
• Agile / Scrum experience, the ability to speak up in refinement and leverage AI tooling.

Responsabilités

• Design and build domain services: bounded contexts, aggregates and business language in cloud-native .NET services.
• Own your API contracts: design, versioning and stable consumption. Avoid breaking changes.
• Design events with Avro schemas, registry, evolution, idempotency and replay.
• Model data for diverse queries using PostgreSQL and JSONB.
• Engineer for fleet-scale telemetry: ensure performance and reliability for many devices.
• Make services observable and operable: OpenTelemetry traces, metrics, logs, health checks and alerts.
• Test your own work with unit and integration tests alongside engineers against containerised dependencies.
• Shape designs upstream, raise the bar, and lead through reviews and standards.
• Leverage AI in daily work and help the team raise the bar on its use.
