Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to lead and deliver high‑quality publications, abstracts, and posters for peri‑ and post‑approval programs. This role emphasizes scientific accuracy, regulatory alignment, and clear communication in English, within a highly collaborative CRO environment.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in medical publications, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects remotely, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing peer‑reviewed publications and abstracts.
• Experience in CRO environments is advantageous.
• Experience creating publication extenders (plain language summaries, graphical abstracts) is advantageous.
• Understanding of publication planning and strategy is valuable.
• Strong scientific writing, project management, and digital literacy.

Responsabilités

• Write, edit, and manage manuscripts, posters, abstracts, oral slide decks, and review articles to quality and timelines.
• Raise and help resolve project management issues, including out‑of‑scope requests.
• Ensure compliance with quality processes and industry standards.
• Represent the team as the lead contact on projects and liaise with clients.
• Lead or contribute to process improvements within the publications team.
