Ball Corporation in Genk, Belgium, is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead the plant mechanical team and manage maintenance across high-speed can making lines and auxiliaries. You will drive operational excellence, safety, and TPM initiatives to ensure reliable production.

The role demands 7+ years in maintenance within high-speed manufacturing, hands-on experience with presses, boilers, and licensed equipment, and strong Lean, TPM, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years relevant experience in maintenance in high-speed manufacturing.
• Experience in mechanical power presses, hydraulic equipment maintenance, printing press, LPG handling, gas-fired ovens, boilers.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD - Mechanical.
• Experience with TPM implementation and lean tools (SMED, Kaizen 5S, structured problem solving, Six Sigma).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload based on plant KPIs; good planning and coordination.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Drive the preventive maintenance program for plant process equipment and auxiliaries.
• Plan daily maintenance activities and schedule with stakeholders.
• Plan shutdowns, secure spare parts, and execute shutdown maintenance.
• Review spare parts and upgrade equipment; liaise with suppliers for tooling/parts.
• Interpret machine manuals/drawings for maintenance planning and spare parts.
• Lead process and maintenance issue resolution using Lean tools.
• Assist in budgeting for capital projects and maintenance expenses.
• Control maintenance costs within budget; implement cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead team with safety and efficiency; train new joiners.
